About Chemical Peels

Chemical peels reveal smoother skin below the surface. We offer a diverse selection of chemical peels, at different intensities, that target a variety of concerns.

What can I expect?

Chemical peels are a quick way to improve the radiance and elasticity of your skin. This is a non or minimally invasive procedure, the impact and recovery time depends on the type of peel that you do. You may see some exfoliation post the peel, this is expected. Some downtime is generally expected but this can vary depending on the type of peel. You and your provider will determine the best option for the results you are looking for. Your skin will be cleaned thoroughly and then the chemical solution will be applied to your skin. You may experience a slight burning sensation that lasts up to ten minutes, followed by a mild stinging sensation. Cool compresses may ease this sensation. You usually will experience some peeling, for up to a week.

Targeted areas

Chemical peels are typically done on the face but are also commonly used on the hands and décolletage. They can address a variety of facial concerns including, fine lines, wrinkles, discoloration, age spots, scars and other skin imperfections.

How long does it last?

Results vary based on treatment, some peels can produce results after one session, but many require a treatment series (usually three peels) to get optimal results. You may repeat some peels until you get the results you are after but ultimately all chemical peels help skin look noticeably brighter, smoother and more even.
