What can I expect?

To make the treatment as comfortable as possible, Juvéderm® products are formulated with lidocaine. Additionally, your provider will likely apply light numbing cream to the area and use a small needle to ensure as painless of treatment as possible. Juvéderm® injections can take as little as 15 minutes, appointments can run longer depending on the number of areas treated. Results are typically seen immediately, however, swelling, bruising, tenderness may occur at the injection site and will usually subside within seven days.

The Juvéderm® line includes a range of products designed to target specific areas of the face, formulated based on the amount of volume that is required. Juvéderm® Volbella® XC targets the lip area to soften lines and add understated volume Juvéderm® Ultra XC also targets the lip area, and is designed to add noticeable volume and fullness Juvéderm® Voluma® XC is meant to target the cheek and midface to increase volume and definition Juvéderm®® XC targets wrinkles and folds, such as nasolabial folds, and is more subtle than Juvéderm® Vollure™ XC Juvéderm® Vollure™ XC targets moderate to severe facial folds and wrinkles

How does it work?

Juvéderm® products are hyaluronic acid based fillers developed using Hylacross technology, which gives them their signature fluid, workable texture. Juvéderm® Ultra XC products also contain lidocaine, a popular numbing agent, to make for a more comfortable injection experience.

How long does it last?

Juvéderm® fillers can have results lasting up to a year with full treatments. However touchups may be required to maintain volume depending on where the product was placed and the severity of the treated area.

What can I expect?

Treatment time varies depending on the number of areas to be treated, but can be as short as 15 minutes. Numbing cream will typically be applied prior to injections in order to make the treatment as comfortable as possible. Restylane® filler is injected using a very fine needle or a micro-cannula to achieve your desired outcomes, and your provider may gently massage the area after the initial injection. After your treatment, results are visible immediately. For the first 1-2 weeks, it is normal to experience side effects such as swelling, bruising, redness, or tenderness at the injection site. To ensure that you are a good candidate for hyaluronic acid dermal fillers, your provider will have an in-depth consultation with you prior to treatment.

Each of the Restylane® fillers is designed to provide natural, lasting results for specific areas of concern. Restylane® Kysse and Restylane® Silk both target the lips and wrinkles surrounding the mouth known as perioral wrinkles. Restylane® Lyft is indicated for moderate to severe wrinkles and volume loss. Some of the most common targeted areas include nasolabial folds, cheeks, and hands. Restylane®, Restylane®-L , and Restylane® Refyne are versatile fillers with varying consistencies and volumes. They are all used to target multiple facial concerns, including moderate to severe wrinkles, facial folds, and, in some cases, lips. Restylane® Defyne is used to target facial wrinkles and folds, as well as the chin. Chin augmentation using Restylane® Devyne balances the profile for patients with chin retrusion.

How does it work?

The Restylane® family of fillers is composed of non-animal hyaluronic acid and is developed to mimic the hyaluronic acid that occurs naturally in the human body. Restylane® fillers vary in volume and texture in order to take on the natural look and feel of the treated area.

How long does it last?

The duration of results may vary based on the treated area and the degree of correction. With full treatment, some results can last as long as 12-18 months, however maintenance appointments within 6-9 months are typically recommended.

About Radiesse®

What can I expect?

Radiesse is a non invasive procedure with virtually no downtime. Appoints are typically only 30 minutes long, and patients are able to return to their daily routine immediately after treatment.

Targeted areas for Radiesse include smile lines, marionette lines, pre-jowl folds, corners of the mouth, chin wrinkles, and back of the hands. Your provider will work closely with you to determine the best treatment areas for you.

How does it work?

What can I expect?

The primary ingredient in Versa™ and Versa™ Lips is hyaluronic acid. Versa™ and Versa™ Lips were developed using Revanesse’s proprietary formula to provide the ideal balance between volume and smoothness.

A typical Versa™ or Versa™ Lips appointment can last between 15 and 45 minutes. Your provider will consult with you to determine the best treatment plan to meet your goals. Depending on the injection site, your provider may apply numbing cream to avoid discomfort. With full treatment, results can last up to 12 months. Your provider will consult with you about safety information and side effects. Symptoms such as swelling or bruising are common for the first week following Versa™ and Versa™ Lips treatment.
